Malle London

Malle London operates at the intersection of adventure and refined craftsmanship. They are known for creating contemporary British accessories that enable exploration through thoughtful design.

The Malle Trials represented a strategic collaboration between Bike Shed and Malle London, celebrating motorcycling's raw spirit through off-road sprint racing that offered a rugged alternative to traditional track events. I developed the festival's visual identity, capturing the rebellious energy and grit that defined these uphill challenges.

The poster design distilled the event's essence through two central riders embodying the trials' adventurous spirit. The striking three-meter installation became both visual anchor and natural gathering point for attendees, while the simple yet bold aesthetic translated seamlessly to merchandise, which sold out during the festival.

A foundational project involved designing luxury silk scarves specifically for motorcycle riders, combining elegance with practical functionality. The approach featured geometric patterns in monochromatic schemes, creating timeless, reversible designs that appealed to diverse audiences.

The collection's versatility proved prescient when pandemic conditions required adaptation. The scarves seamlessly transformed into face masks while maintaining Malle's signature aesthetic integrity. This demonstrated both the brand's design foresight and commitment to serving their community's evolving needs through innovative British craftsmanship.
